BIG congratulations go out to our girl jennie - miss jen leigh - for getting the gig with "Kelis". Look for jen performing "Milkshake" and "Trick Me" off of Kelis' new CD "Tasty" this Sat. on SNL.

Jen will continue touring with Kelis on the Britney Spears tour Mar. 2 - Apr. 10th, and then who knows from there, but I'm sure she'll be rockin' out in a town near you!


Swivel Hips Recording / Hiatus

Hey Y'all - just a note to let ya know what we r up 2. Taking some downtime to record and relax. Still writing and looking for that missing puzzle piece bassist of our dreams. Look for us around in the spring when the flowers bloom.

We also have a LIVE cd available recorded at Yale University....drop a line for info on how to get your hands on it!

Swivel Hips getting Air Play in Costa Rica & Japan!

Thanks to a wonderful supporter of original music named Bruce Callow, our CD is getting played on 12 radio stations across the Costa Rica area.

Here's a note from Bruce and we thank him for all his work:

"Your CDs arrived safely at all of the stations and were happily received. I delivered this distribution personally to Radio Los Santos and they proceeded to play one or two tracks off each of the CDs including yours of course. That station was the reason this project got started in the first place and they continue to back the artists all the way. To date the most enthusiastic responses have been from Radio Los Santos,Radio La Cruz, Radio Nicoya and Radio Corredores. You have been programmed by Manrique the music director of Radio Los Santos monday to friday from 7Am to 1 PM. Corredores has their new music show saturdays from noon to 2 PM and the other stations I mentioned have also put your CD into rotation on different schedules.

Your music has found a home here on Costa Rica community radio!!"
